Did you have a friend as a child who always seemed to be the mad scientist type? Tying Nerf guns to pets, setting booby traps, and creating toxic concoctions in the bathroom are all signs that your friend is probably heading the wrong way.
Rooms of Doom is about a mad scientist who has taken his crazy ideas a little too far. Set in a laboratory full of deadly testing rooms (i.e. the name “Rooms of Doom”), your mission in this game is to guide this crazy lunatic’s genetically modified pets through each room without accidentally killing them.
Each room acts as its minigame and increases in difficulty and speeds the longer you survive. The more points you get on each tour, the more deadly rooms you can buy, which in turn will increase the number of test rooms where you can force the doctor’s exotic pets.
If this were anything other than a game, Rooms of Doom would be highly illegal.
Besides being a bit out of taste, Rooms of Doom is a fun game that is generally very well done. The graphics are great, the controls are straightforward, and there are tons of creepy rooms and characters to unlock. If you happen to be the mad scientist type, chances are you enjoy playing this game.
Depending on the type of game you like to play, this may be your next favourite game. Packed with minigames like Flappy Bird, Barrel-blasting Diddy Kong, simple evaders, and much more, this game is a compilation of all your favourite minigames rolled into one.
Although a little, “Ahem…”, sometimes overall, this is a fun game that you don’t want crazy 6-year-old scientists to know about…
